1. Raw materials (most influential)
- Fine powder quality
- The finer and more uniform the powder, the easier to squeeze and less likely to clog the machine → higher efficiency
- Coarse powder with particles → prone to block the die and break the pill → frequent machine stops for cleaning
- Moisture content / viscosity of the soft material
- Moderate humidity and good toughness → smooth pill production, no sticking during rolling
- Too dry: prone to breakage, incomplete pills
- Too wet: sticks to the mold and搓轮, poor pill shape
- Formula ingredients
- High oil, sugar, honey content → prone to sticking, reduced efficiency
- High fiber content, light powder → difficult to compact, slow pill production
2. Machine and molds
- Mold hole diameter (pill diameter size)
- Smaller pills → smoother pill production, relatively lower output
- Larger pills → rougher pill production, higher output
- Pill outlet / screw wear
- Wear and deformation → uneven pill production, efficiency reduced by half
- Rolling wheel gap and knife edge
- Inconsistent gap → inconsistent pill size, more broken pills
- Blunt knife edge → unable to cut cleanly, trailing, low efficiency
- Motor / transmission status
- Loose belt, bearing jammed → unstable speed, low output
3. Operation and parameters
- Whether the pill production speed matches the pill cutting speed
- Inconsistent → broken pills, inconsistent sizes, more rework
- Whether the material is added uniformly and continuously
- Sometimes too much, sometimes too little → sometimes fast, sometimes slow, overall low efficiency
- Whether cleaning is timely
- Sticking, clogging → frequent machine stops for wiping → significant reduction in efficiency
4. Environmental conditions
- Low temperature: drug materials become harder, difficult to squeeze
- High humidity: prone to sticking pills, difficult to shape
- High environmental dust → easy damage to bearings and motors → high failure rate
