The cleaning and maintenance of the wax pool heating system of the large honey pill wax dipping machine should focus on several core parts such as the heating tube, temperature sensor, temperature control component, and wax liquid. Moreover, it is necessary to strictly follow the hygiene requirements of pharmaceutical equipment and carry out the work at several frequencies: daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Daily cleaning and maintenance (completed after each use)
Cleaning the surface of the heating tube: When the wax liquid temperature drops to around 50℃ (the wax liquid has not yet completely solidified), use a clean stainless steel soft brush to gently brush off the wax debris and carbonized wax scale adhering to the surface of the heating tube to avoid these impurities affecting the heating efficiency. Be careful not to scratch the surface of the heating tube
Temperature sensor cleaning: Use a dust-free medical lint-free cotton swab to gently wipe the probe of the temperature sensor and remove any adhering wax debris to avoid affecting the accuracy of temperature detection
Cleaning around the heating system: Use a clean damp cloth to wipe the surface of the heating junction box and the temperature controller outside the wax pool, remove dust and splashed wax liquid, and prevent dust from entering the junction box and causing a short circuit
Weekly deep cleaning and maintenance
Overall cleaning of the heating tube: Drain all the wax liquid from the wax pool. Soak the heating tube in hot water at around 80℃ (with a small amount of food-grade detergent added) for 15 to 20 minutes. Then, use a soft brush to remove stubborn wax deposits and carbonized layers on the surface of the heating tube. After that, rinse it thoroughly with clean water, dry it, and pour back the filtered wax liquid
Wiring part inspection and cleaning: Open the wiring box of the heating system, use a clean dry brush to clean the dust and wax chips on the wiring terminals, and at the same time check if the wiring is loose. If it is loose, tighten it in time
Calibration of the temperature control system: Use a standard mercury thermometer to measure the actual temperature inside the wax pool and compare it with the displayed temperature of the temperature controller. If the deviation exceeds ±1℃, recalibrate the parameters of the temperature controller
Monthly maintenance
Heating tube insulation test: After power-off, use an insulation resistance tester to measure the insulation resistance of the heating tube. The insulation resistance should be ≥1MΩ. If it is lower than this value, it indicates that the insulation layer of the heating tube has been damaged and a new heating tube needs to be replaced
Heating tube fixation inspection: Check if the fixing bracket of the heating tube is loose. If it is loose, tighten the fixing screws in time to prevent the heating tube from shaking and causing uneven heating of the wax liquid
Wax liquid replacement: If the wax liquid has been in use for more than one month, or if the color of the wax liquid has darkened or stratified, all of it should be replaced with new medical-grade paraffin wax to prevent deteriorated wax liquid from affecting the heating effect and the sealing quality of honey pills
Quarterly maintenance
Heating system circuit inspection: Please have a professional electrician check the status of the wires, circuit breakers and fuses in the heating system. If there is any aging or oxidation, replace them in time
Thermostat maintenance: Conduct a comprehensive parameter calibration of the thermostat and clean the dust inside the thermostat to ensure its stable operation
